Do you offer a range of qualities of carpet?
Can you work off drawings?
We certainly can! – We often work with architects, developers and interior designers so having drawings available makes initial quoting straightforward – however, for your peace of mind and ours we also undertake our own surveys on every job we are asked to look at.
Do you have a showroom?
We do, we have a large showroom at our site in Avon Dassett on the Warwickshire / Oxfordshire border just off the M40 between Junctions 11 and 12, with hundreds of carpet samples for you to browse and help you choose the ideal carpets for you.

Why are there different underlays available?
As with most things in life a good foundation is essential for a successful outcome and that is so true where carpets are concerned. A correctly specified and fitted underlay will extend the life of your flooring keeping it looking and feeling good for many years. Room size, carpet type and location all play a part in making the right choice. For areas with underfloor heating, low tog underlay can be specified to minimise the insulating effect. In areas where airborne noise is a consideration, sound attenuating underlayment may be specified.
Can I use my existing underlay?
We’d strongly recommend not! New carpet – new underlay is the golden rule, why? – well, over time, underlay can compress and become less resilient in high traffic areas or where furniture has been standing. This reduces performance and causes the carpet to flatten more quickly – new underlay better supports new carpet.
Can we soundproof our appartment floor before carpeting?
Sound transmission in buildings results from both airborne and impact noise sources. Airborne noise is that from people talking, radios, TV’s and the like and impact noise is from things being dropped, people walking, moving furniture etc. Depending on the type of floor and degree of attenuation required, Acoustilay flooring or Maxiboard from SRS Ltd can be fitted prior to carpets being laid.
